Matt initially worked as independent sub-contractor for a number of well-respected local woodland workers and tree surgeons before starting Dryad Treework in 2005.
Dryad Treework has since grown to encompass a broad range of woodland work, coppice restoration, forestry and tree surgery.
Covered by £5 million Public Liability Insurance and fully qualified through the City and Guilds National Proficiency Tests Council (NPTC), Dryad Treework operates across the Isle of Wight with professionalism, skill and experience.
Whether individually or collectively, in the form of copses, woodland and forests, trees perform an incredibly significant role in our lives and landscape.
Throughout the Isle of Wight, Dryad Treework is committed to maintaining these fascinating organisms, managing and improving the environments in which they grow.
Our services remain available on a sub-contractual basis when our reliability and expertise is required by others working within the forestry, woodland and tree care sectors.
Previous and on-going contracts include Forestry Commission forest maintenance, commercial timber harvesting operations, amenity tree and woodland management for Brighstone Parish Council and many smaller private garden-tree operations. Sensitivity and sustainability underpin all our activities, be they large or small.
